Finding unique photography locations in St. Louis can be challenging, especially when you're looking for elevated views of the Gateway Arch. While there are plenty of articles about photographing the Arch from ground level, I had a surprisingly difficult time finding information about parking garages with rooftop views.
After some exploring, I discovered that the Stadium East Parking Garage in downtown St. Louis offers an excellent vantage point for photographers looking to capture the Arch from above.
Location
The Stadium East Parking Garage is located at 200 South Broadway in downtown St. Louis, near Busch Stadium and Ballpark Village. It is also the preferred parking garage recommended for visitors to Gateway Arch National Park because it sits just a short walk from the park entrance on 4th Street.
Parking
When I visited the Stadium East Parking Garage, I parked on the third floor and walked up the remaining levels to the rooftop. If you prefer, you can also continue driving all the way to the top level. The rooftop provides unobstructed views of the Gateway Arch and downtown St. Louis, making it a great spot for photography.
